The leadership team

AUSIEX is led by an experienced, multi-skilled and progressive leadership team, who are driven to combine our unrivalled expertise and scale with the best solutions.

Patrick Salis

Patrick Salis

CEO

Patrick is focused on delivering AUSIEX’s vision of becoming Australia’s leading market utility providing equities and ETO trade execution, clearing and settlement solutions (ECS) and portfolio administration services (PAS). This will be achieved by combining the local experience and domain expertise of the AUSIEX team with NRI’s technology and strong capital markets capability. Patrick is also a Director and member of the AUSIEX Board.

Patrick is a senior executive with significant global experience and achievements in high growth fintech businesses. Prior to taking on his current role Patrick was the CFO at AUSIEX and has also held a number of other Executive roles, most notably at GBST Limited an ASX listed company, Virgin Money Australia and JDV Limited.

Hiroki Shimada

Hiroki Shimada

Chief Strategy Officer

In this role, he leads strategic planning for the business.

Prior to taking on his current role, Hiroki led the ex-Japan business development and alliances strategy for NRI’s Securities Solutions Division.

Hiroki has 15 years of experience in capital markets technology in Japan.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from International Christian University and Master of Business Administration from Oxford University.

Yuki Tamura

Yuki Tamura

Head of Strategy

In his current role, Yuki leads strategic planning and execution for the business. He previously led the PMO for a major platform transformation at AUSIEX, which implemented a solution from the NRI Group. With over a decade of experience, Yuki has managed technology portfolios and projects for financial institutions across Japan, Europe, and Australia. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Keio University in Tokyo.
